#13: Provide a timeline for project completion with periodic milestones and celebration dates identified. (200 words maximum). The project timelines should commence when the hardware is delivered and continue for 24 months.

When our new Science and Engineering building opens on August 6th, 2009,it will feature an innovation lab filled with the HP technology. Thistechnology and innovation lab will allow the Bachelor of Innovationdegrees to continue to enhance its non-traditional learning practices. These learning practices include extensive group work, grant writing, aswell as real-world experience with local businesses' projects. Inaddition to the innovation lab, there will be computer kiosks throughoutthe building with software and games created by Bachelor of Innovationstudents created games with the newly supplied HP technology. Thesegames will be aimed at inciting interest in STEM careers forpre-college students in grades 8-12. By increasing interest in STEMcareers, we hope to see an increase in enrollment in the Bachelor ofInnovation as well as at UCCS as a whole. Classes taking advantage ofthis new technology would begin on August 20th, 2009, with the firstclasses using the technology ending December 18th, 2009, and resumingagain the following semester. By Fall 2010, our first Bachelorof Innovation students will have graduated from this new degreefield, and their success in the workplace will reflect the success ofthe degree and its technology.

Looking at this"By increasing interest in STEMcareers, we hope to see an increase inenrollment in the Bachelor ofInnovation as well as at UCCS as a whole" ... apart from the zero grammar check - what is wrong with this sentence?

Enlighten me but why does HP want to read this "By Fall 2010, our first Bachelorof Innovation students will havegraduated from this new degreefield, and their success in the workplacewill reflect the success ofthe degree and its technology"?

This is pretty good, the only thing I would say is try to incorporate even more dates because right now your group only has three dates and that’s basically all number thirteen asks for. Maybe you could include like Spring 2011, the date where students will graduate with all four years of the Innovation degree. Just an idea.

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springsproposes to expand innovative degree programs through the Bachelor ofInnovation family of degrees. The university is committed to exploring and expanding DigitalLearning Environments: online learning is incorporated with thetraditional classroom curriculum; technology is commonly used in theclassroom and is integral to student-teacher communication; students inthe Game Design and Development degree program utilize simulation andgaming for educational learning. The Undergraduate Design and ResearchExperience comes from multi-disciplinary innovation teams working onreal projects for real companies in the local community. UCCS isalready implementing the Pre-College
Outreach with K-12 university walkthroughs and seminars and has beenrecognized for its nationally leading community engagement. With thisgrant the university can use technology such as the Tablet PC todevelop educational games for prospective students to interact with andlearn about STEM. University professors have already talked to schoolsabout why the innovation program at UCCS is essential to society?sever-changing world. Tablet PC?s will assist the faculty in being moreflexible with combining traditional education and the advances intechnology. With the assistance of this grant, the Bachelor?s ofInnovation degree programs can grow and make efforts to change thecurriculum and teaching styles to utilize technology at the Universityof Colorado at Colorado Springs.

The aforementioned typos show that upon pasting this well written document that nobody in the group checked the posting.  this is good work that would otherwise deserve an "A" were it not fo rslopppiness in the posting process.

You say:  "
Tablet PC?s will assist the faculty in being moreflexible with combining traditional education and the advances intechnology." Mmm - but how?

Leadership: As the Bachelor of Innovation deals directly to students based more towards technological aspects, it is key that the Professors be capable of demonstrating with technology the students may encounter in their careers, as such, the access of higher technology to orientate and lead students is necessary for our class leaders.

Digital Learning Environments: Students of the technology based portions of the Bachelor of Innovation require the ability to easily orientate themselves about the room and present ideas in creative ways as the innovating process deals with untested ideals and unbound concepts that require the students to think in terms of images, as well as be able to combine the multiple technology elements (Programming, digital arts, etc) to easily combine their concepts.

9. The Bachelor of Innovation is degree program dealing most directly with incorporating not only innovation techniques, but the most available technology in order to press forward our progress. As such, it would be a large obstacle to introduce us to technology present in the world of our careers without the technology available to us to orientate ourselves onto. On top of that, the concept of the BI program utilizes the most knowledge personnel in various technological career fields, and in order to most properly learn from them, the technology they used in their careers would be the most appropriate and easiest to utilize method of orientating us to follow in their career paths. Furthermore, without this technology available to the BI program, the advance programs and concepts the students deal with everyday in the process of learning would be useless without the creative tools, hardware, and software to allow us to explore the creative freedoms we are taught to embrace and build additions on top of.

Some comments on sentence structure:

There are a number of instances of "missing" words (e.g. "the bachelor of innovation is degree..." should be "the bachelor of innovation is a degree..."), and sentence clarity seems hard to follow, at least for me. As an example, I had to go back and re-read the sentence "On top of that, the concept of the BI program utilizes the mostknowledge personnel in various technological career fields, and inorder to most properly learn from them, the technology they used intheir careers would be the most appropriate and easiest to utilizemethod of orientating us to follow in their career paths." a couple of times before I grasped what you were saying.
